The Screening Clinic at the CORE Center provides confidential STI and HIV
testing, counseling and treatment to persons 12 years and older.
Parental consent is not required to receive services at the Screening Clinic.
Services are provided regardless of ability to pay. The cost is based on family
size and household income, see Cost
of Services.

Testing is offered for the following Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Hepatitis:
HIV (the virus that causes AIDS), Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Herpes, Genital Warts,
Chlamydia, and Hepatitis A, B, and C.
STI Symptoms
The most common symptoms are burning while using the bathroom, discharge (drip), itching or a sore in the genital area (penis, vagina or anus). Some people have mild or no symptoms at all. That is why it is important to be tested even if you don’t have any symptoms, but think you have been exposed to an STI.

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
The CORE Center Screening Clinic offers two kinds of confidential HIV testing:

Rapid HIV Testing:

The result is ready the same day.

Conventional HIV Testing:

The result is ready within 1-2 weeks.
